Mr. Moore, I feel like we’ve met at one time or another. I belonged to the Birmingham Archaeological Society for many years and had the pleasure of meeting some very nice folks while there. I knew Dr. Nance, Carey Oakley, Charles Hubbert, Heard Floyd, Wiliam Steele, David DeJarnette and many others. I even met Dan Joselyn years ago. We had regular speakers come and visit, including Dr. Mayhan from Montevallo. I served as president for several years and enjoyed knowing so many nice folks. I miss everyone there. I moved back to my home county of Lamar in ’92.
Heartiest congratulations upon your receiving the Achievement Award from the American Society of Amateur Archaeology! Our best, Barbara and Jim Nash
